News and Events

Friday 3rd March 2.00PM to 5.00PM

Are you involved in running an education or demonstration centre for community climate action, or are you involved in developing one?

Join us for a dedicated afternoon specifically designed to support destinations for Community Climate Action.

The iACT project (Activating Community Transformation), funded by the EU, exists to increase the number and quality of destinations across Europe demonstrating climate action, sustainable living and permaculture to the public. Cloughjordan Ecovillage is one of 7 EU partners taking part in the project, to develop a set of tools and resources to help build the capacity of these destinations.

The Cloughjordan team will introduce you to the new iACT toolkit, good practice guide and our newly initiated Community Climate Action Programme, to develop the capacity and impact of education and demonstration centres engaged in community climate action in Ireland..

This will be a great opportunity to meet others working in this field, network, exchange ideas, meet some old friends and make some new ones.  Lunch is included.
