Groups

Group Visits

Cloughjordan Ecovillage organises group visits for Community Groups, Schools, Colleges and Professionals from all over Ireland and from abroad tailoring the schedule and content to the specific interests of the group on request. Each programme is designed to enable participants to gain a deeper understanding of the range of social, environmental and economic topics that Cloughjordan Ecovillage is exploring, at whatever level is appropriate and includes a guided tour of the Ecovillage and its facilities.

Education is at the heart of all we do at Cloughjordan Ecovillage as we seek to share the lessons of what we are learning and to learn from others as we transition to a low-carbon society. Sustainable Projects Ireland Ltd is therefore a registered educational charity since its foundation in 1999 (CHY 13328). We aim to make Cloughjordan a leading destination for learning-by-doing and action research into sustainability, resilience, community living and rural regeneration.
