| The Company |
 We are a diverse group of people who have come together to build Ireland's first 'eco-village' in Cloughjordan, North Tipperary.Under the banner of 'Building Sustainable Community' our company, Sustainable Projects Ireland Ltd., is currently in the process of creating a model development that will include 130 dwellings along with shops, playgrounds and communal facilities. According to the principles of Permaculture there will also be an equal area of community land for growing, and the same area again for shared amenity and woodland. The company will provide its members with fully serviced plots which have outline planning and full planning permission for various buildings, which will then be built by members in line with our overall design and with our ecological specifications. As a community we aim to share out the rights and responsibilities of making this project work. Our evolving decision-making processes are founded on the Consensus model, with practical structures in place to ensure that we achieve our aims.
