IRISH AND ECOLOGY / An Ghaeilge agus an Éiceolaíocht / DEEP LISTENING SERIES
Michael Cronin gives a bilingual talk on the subject of his new book on Irish and ecology in which he argues that endangered languages like Irish ‘offer a way of engaging with the non-human world which can teach us invaluable skills for a future where the non-human is coming back to exact climate revenge on human hubris’.
Tabharfaidh Michael Cronin caint dátheangach ar ábhar a leabhair nua ar an Ghaeilge agus an éiceolaíocht. Leagfaidh sé béim ar thábhacht na Gaeilge ‘chun an nasc idir an chríoch dhaonna agua na críocha nádúrtha a athchruthú agus a shlánú’.
